Fleet & Hangar

Your ships, your org's ships, and who's allowed to see them.

Your Personal Hangar

Personal Hangar sits in the sidebar on every page — it's yours, not any one org's. Register the ships you actually own, name them if you like ("Rust Bucket" stays "Rust Bucket", it doesn't get folded into "Cutlass Black ×2"), and they become available everywhere else:

  • Event signups/bring_ship and the event's ship picker read straight from it
  • Org Fleet Dashboard — your hulls count toward what the org can field
  • Public profile — a shareable page showing your fleet, awards and certifications

Importing instead of typing

Already tracking your fleet elsewhere? Import FleetView on the Personal Hangar page brings the whole thing in at once, instead of adding forty ships by hand.

Privacy — you decide who sees what

The privacy panel on the Personal Hangar page is the member's side of this, and it's layered:

Control Effect
Hide my hangar everywhere You disappear from every org's fleet views — officers and admins included — and your public profile's fleet empties. Beats everything below.
Per-org visibility For each org you're in: Everyone in org, Officers & admins only (the default), or Hidden
Per-ship hidden Individual ships you'd rather not list at all

You always see your own ships, whatever these say. And a hidden hangar isn't advertised as hidden — a private member is simply absent from the roster, not rendered as an empty row.

Server admins have their own switch on top of this: an org can refuse to show its fleet to non-members at all.

The Org Fleet Dashboard

Org Management → Org Fleet Dashboard answers the two questions leadership actually asks, from two angles:

  • By Model — "does the org have enough Reclaimers?" Every visible hangar aggregated into one row per ship, with a count and who owns them.
  • By Member — "what does this person bring to an op?" No aggregation; each ship keeps its own identity and custom name.

Opening a member shows their hangar and their recent ops side by side — useful when you're picking a crew and want to know both what they fly and whether they show up.

Fleet mates

Some ships need a crew. Mates are the people you habitually fly with, tracked on your own fleet:

Command What it does
/fleet status Your fleet and your mates
/fleet add_mate <member> Add someone as a mate
/fleet remove_mate <member> Remove one

All three answer privately — your fleet isn't channel content.

No mate cap

Mates used to be limited by Patreon supporter tier, and the limit was zero below the top tier. That gate is gone — add as many mates as you like. See the FAQ.
